Mohamed is he Director of MEP Engineering at KEO International Consultants Doha office with over 30 years of professional experience in Canadian, US, and Qatar design firms. He is a registered Engineer in the USA, Canada and Qatar. Mohamed graduated from Oklahoma State University in 1987. Mohamed’s experience covers electrical and Mechanical systems design and implementation, offering team management, project management, client interaction, training for younger Engineers, and project financial management. Mohamed provides concepts, specification development and design evaluation for all projects.
Mohamed has been active on the sustainability front since 1997 and has held the post of the Chairman of the Education Committee on the Qatar Green Building Council (QGBC) for three consecutive years between 2009 and 2012. Mohamed has been involved as a speaker at several sustainability events in the USA, Doha, Abu Dhabi, Dubai, and Singapore. He is regarded as a leader in the promotion of sustainability and Green Building Practices. He is a GSAS Certified Green Professional (GSAS CGP) in addition to affiliations with several international organizations such as NFPA, IESNA, and BICSI.
